In today’s world of mass production, it’s easy to forget that some things still require skill, patience, and craftsmanship.
Wheel building is one of them.
It’s not just about lacing spokes and tensioning the wheel—A mass produced, machine-built wheel is inferior to a hand-built wheels.
In December, we launched our new website and added several new products, including our Center lock Rotor Shims and new color options for our Presta Valve Core Removal Tool.
This spring, we are also launching a new service that allows riders to take advantage of VeloFuze wheel building expertise. Have a set of existing hubs you want laced to new rims? We can do that. Whether you already have the hubs or rims, or need help sourcing one or both, we can provide a professional wheel build designed to perform well and last for many years.
As mentioned on our About Us page, we have well over 20 years of wheel building experience and have built hundreds, if not thousands, of wheels. Because we cut and roll our own spoke threads in-house, we can build wheels in virtually any size up to 36". Yes, you read that right — even 36" wheel builds are now possible.
